Wedding Invitations

HappyGreenBridesmaid33731, 30 June, 2020 at 14:56 Posted on Planning 0 1

Hi All,

We have just postponed our wedding until 2021 in the hopes weddings will be back to some kind of 'normal'. The problem is we have all our invitations printed with the original date and don't know what to do. I do t want to throw them away as I took a lot of time to design them and get them printed (not to mention the cost). Any ideas how we could amend them? Is anyone else in the same boat - what did you decide to do? Many thanks x

You could either scratch through the old date and write the new one next to it - making a joke out of the whole thing.

Or get a label printed with the new details that you could stick or glue over the top? This is what we were going to do with our orders of service, but with the restrictions being so tight right now (we're getting married next week!) plus the fact that everything's likely to change last minute, we're just recycling them instead and going without!

Hi there, we have gone with “Change the date” cards which you can get and only need one page rather than a whole suite. We went with the change the date cards from charlottewakefordstationery which were around 60p each for the number of guests we have and they also had discount due to being fairly new to the market
