Wedding invitations - supermarket!

Kat Furlong , 18 of October of 2015 at 21:15 Posted on Planning 0 12

So today in Asda I found THE most gorgeous and perfect wedding invites for £2 a packet!

I never would have thought of buying them from a supermarket, but they are really nice quality, exactly what we were looking for and so cheap!

I'll try and post a picture up (can't figure it out from the app)

Hope this is helpful to other brides!

Look really nice and what a steal for that price. I got my save the dates very cheap as well from notonhighstreet think like £5 or less for 10 not as much as a bargain as yours but much cheaper than other places who charge about £5 for one.

You can't beat a bargain and these look a lot more expensive than they were.

We bought some Paperchase ones at an outlet store - supposed to be £7.50 for 10, for them for £2.50.

I never would have thought about paperchase (and I adore that shop!)

They have stuff pre written inside, I'll post a pic ?

They are really really nice quality! Total fluke too, I was doing the weekly shop and spotted them from a bout 3 aisles away! Que a mad dash, bought the lot and got the rest in another Asda - happy days!

A friend also told me that home bargains apparently have a great wedding aisle - never would have thought to look in there either!

Day time - not traditional 'mr and Mrs _____ request your presence at the marriage of their daughter' type, but these are perfect for our relaxed and non traditional wedding (although I think my mum might be a bit miffed!)

Lovely! Hobbycraft have some lovely rustic/shabby chic style invitations as well. They're very simple - just space to write the name/place/time etc, but we received them for a wedding we went to earlier in the year and the bride and groom had included their own page of information. M&S have lots of packs of invitations as well - can't remember noticing any wedding ones specifically but it would be worth a look.
