Wedding planner in Majorca?

The Duchess, 3 August, 2008 at 12:13 Posted on Planning 0 4

We want to renew our vows in Majorca next year and wondered if anyone knew how to go about finding someone to help arrange and then perform the ceremony?

We'll be staying at a private villa so the usual tour operator's wedding packages are not an option for us.

I don't need a lot of planning, we are keeping things really simple we just need to find a location in Cala D'Or or somewhere close to it and we need someone to perform the ceremony. All the other little bits and pieces I can do myself.

Anyone got any ideas?

    Hi Claire,

I was interested to read your post as we too are having our wedding in Cala D'or next year and have just got back from holiday having fixed the church and the reception location. I am due to go back out in May to finalise some details however would be very interested in the information you have regarding florists and beauticians. Any chance you could forward me the details you have?

    Many thanks

    Louise

    Hi Claire

My cousin got married in Puerto Pollensa last year, at St Andrews in the main square, the chaplain helped with all of the arrangements! You'll find the Anglican Churches in Majorca listed here: http://www.telefonica.net/web2/anglicanchurch/ Hope it helps!

Thanks for the info Claire. Really useful.

We have gone for the 17th September and are being married in the Church of Santa Maria del Mar in Cala D'Or with a reception afterwards at the Yacht Club. We are flying out 15 of our close family and friends so it will be a small intimate affair but hopefully really lovely.

The lady we are dealing with at the Yacht Club is really helpful and is sending details for photographers, cars, entertainment etc. She deals with a florist based in Cala D'Or (situated behind Burger King I think!) who does all the flowers for the Yacht Club and for weddings but they don't appear to have a website. I am due to go out in May to discuss with them what I want for my bouquet, bridesmaids, church flowers, button holes etc. so I am sure everything will be Ok. If I don't like what they have to offer then some of the florists in Palma will deliver to Cala D'Or.

If you need any contact details let me know and I will forward you anything I have.

    Thanks again,

    Louise

    Hi.

I'm getting married in Mallorca next year and need some help. I can't seem to find a decent photographer that won't charge us lots. I've tried calling capture mallorca and also tried their website however i've had no luck.

    Can anyone help?
