Look at your playlists, which artists do you love and keep going back to? For me it was always going to be something retro rather than anything modern. Choose something that's meaningful to you and that you genuinely love as a song regardless would be my biggest piece of advice.

I kept adding potential songs to a playlist whenever I was listening to music in general and something felt like it could be a contender... and then I thought about these things before making my final decision:
- the speed it would mean walking down the aisle (ruled some out because the tempo changed about too much, which would feel awkward for both me and the bridesmaids)
- if there was a tv/movie association that would instantly make people think of that (unless it was a meaningful movie to our relationship) e.g. one of my friends went to a wedding and apparently everyone was whispering how it was "the Twilight song" which would personally make me cringe so bad
- the lyrics and whether they felt relevant to our wedding setting
- tested out where the music would likely fade based on the venue coordinator's ETA from end of aisle to top (some have a nice instrumental interlude between after the end of the first chorus which works well - you don't want to be fretting about timing your walk down to the perfect second!)

We are having the Greatest Show in acoustic for our walking down the aisle song. I haven't even thought about a so g for entering the reception, is it a think, I thought they just announce you and everyone claps as you walk in! I may have to think of one
