Wedding registry office before actual wedding day!

Most people I know who have done that tend to go for a smart casual look - after all, even if you regard 24th May as your wedding day, the day you sign the papers at the registry office is the day you legally become married, so it is a bit special! But you can go as smart or as casual as you want.

We are getting married in Aug and we are doing our registry office ceremony on the same day as the reception. We won't be having any other type of ceremony. So I will be wearing a bridal dress but made in a light beige colour rather than white. I was going to wear something more casual as its just registry office and it will only be 25 people with us, but I found a dress I really liked and I'm having it remade in a colour I would rather wear. So you just wear what you want and what feels right for you. Will you be having a photographer present? Any guests present? If not then go more casual.
