Wedding ring advice - NHS

LuxuriousGoldBridesmaid60937, 23 December, 2019 at 23:57 Posted on Planning 0

Hello,

I’m looking for some advice about what type of wedding rings can be worn if you work in the NHS?

Im getting married at the end of March and am a medical student so am on ward placements at the moment. I don’t wear my engagement ring to the hospital because of infection control but am wondering what type of wedding ring I would be allowed to wear.

Does anyone know if a band with milgrain detailing would be allowed?

Any advice would be great!

I work in the NHS - the policies vary from Trust to Trust but ours allows only a 'plain wedding band'. Depends on how eagle eyed the Infection Control Team might be but personally I would stick with a plain wedding band if you are going to be moving from Trust to Trust.
