Wedding ring size v engagement ring size?

Hi All,

We're going to look at wedding rings tomorrow (eek!) and I'm not sure what to do about sizing?

I've got quite small fingers and my engagement ring is an I.

It's quite loose - but not so in the summer months and as we're getting married in August I'm sure it'll fit snuggly for the wedding.

So ... do I get my wedding ring in a H or H 1/2 so that I can wear it on top of my engagement ring in the winter or do I stick to the same size to save any embarrasing struggles putting it on my finger in church!

Anyone in the same position?

    I'm a size I also and would advise you to get a size I. Dont go for anything smaller, your finger shouldnt change size depending on where the rings sit...... and your fingers wont swell up, if in doubt run your hand under a cold tap before leaving the house/room.

    Im a size j and went in recently just to make sure it was right and the next size up was far too big. go for the same size as your ER x

    Thanks ladies - I'll have a word with them tomorrow.

    My diamond swings around most of the time just below my knuckle so I know it's too big - just don't want to re-size it again!

    I'll just have to wait for an eternity ring to make sure it stays put! ?
