Hi fellow brides! Where have people bought their wedding shoes from?! Any recommendations for websites/shops would be much appreciated 🥰

Hi Leah! Depends on what you’re going for! I had a classic white satin dress - which was never what I thought I’d like. But turned out to be the dress I loved the most. I managed to find white satin shoes to match. They were perfect and I got them on eBay. They were NEXT shoes and were completely destroyed after the wedding day. I even had a pair of white ballet pumps for dancing which (if you’re wearing heels) I’d recommend for later on!

I got mine from Joe Browns - very cute dolly style with a low heel. Joe Browns can be a quirky though and not for everyone

I bought mine from Rachel Simpson - they're particularly good if you want shoes that are a bit more art deco, coloured shoes etc. They also have an official outlet site. I got my shoes for a third of the price I was about to pay for them on a bridal accessories website, as I just happened to realise just in time that they now were on the brand's outlet site!

Asos have some lovely shoes in a bridal range! I actually bought some 6 months ago before I was engaged and kept them as I thought they would be perfect wedding shoes 😂 they were only £20!

Good luck on your wedding shoe search! I have to say I gave this way to much thought until one of my bridesmaids pointed out no one is actually going to see them under my dress and it’s only going to be me that knows I am wearing them haha. I have gone for a beautiful ted baker stiletto heel in a pastel blue as my something blue and I’ve invested in flip flops for the evening. Hope you find your perfect shoes soon ❤️

This is exactly what my Mum has said to me, that no one will see them and she’s right! So I’ve stopped looking at ridiculously expensive shoes and going to be more sensible. Thank you 🤍

I agree with @Kelly. Since no one but you is really going to see them, go for something comfortable, low cost and ideally, something you can wear again. I got married in summer and bought a pair of flat, sparkly sandals from a high street store for under £20 that I can wear again and again.

I actually found a lovely pair from Deichmanns - unexpectedly walked in and saw them cost £30 went a size up as I have wide feet but got some cushions. I refused to spend a fortune in them knowing I'll probably want to change to flats in the evening and they will be hidden under my dress.

This is the link for them on the website, they have a few other inexpensive options too: Wedding Shoes
