Wedding Shoes

BearFeb2016, 1 October, 2015 at 13:30 Posted on Planning 0 17

Where are you lovely ladies getting your wedding shoes from?

I'm really struggling to find anything that I really like (with the exception of one pair which at £240 are way over my budget!)

Mine are from John Lewis, but they are Rainbow Club ones and they were about £80.

It all depends on how much you have to spend. There is a place by me that has an online shop and they tend to have something for every budget. its called elegant steps.

Umm... I seem to have bought 3 pairs of potential wedding shoes, can't decide so will wait until I can try them on with my dress before choosing the final pair. All of mine were less than £50 and all purchases were based on the fact that I would wear them again, very important to me!

These were from ASOS at £14 in the sale - bargain!

These were £45 from Zalando with a discount code I found on google

And these were £37.50 with student discount

You can get some really nice shoes that can work for a wedding that aren't officially wedding shoes. I found that I didn't like offical wedding shoes and would certainly never wear them again so they would be a waste of money as they aren't cheap! x

Ooh Louboutins - gorgeous! I have a pair that I absolutely love but they are hard to walk in and not suitable for a wedding! Haha!

I have a pair I got from John Lewis in the sale for £65, they are Carvela by Kurt Geiger. I just need to try them on with my dress which is a light gold colour! I wanted sparkly peep toe with a lower heel/platform and these seem perfect so fingers crossed!!

I got some simple suede-like court shoes from Debenhams, they were only £18.50 and I also found some flats in a matching colour from New Look, I don't remember how much they were, probably no more than £10! The flats were mostly "just in case" my feet start hurting or just for the next day when we have breakfast at the hotel. I managed to get a perfect colour match on both to a detail on my dress! :-)

My daytime shoes were £20 on eBay and £50 for pearl encrusting, here they are -

My evening shoes were £30 on eBay and £50 for jewel encrusting, but I don't have a pic. Almost went for these but chickened out -

I have been trawling sites for months now, I don't want o spend a lot on my wedding shoes, especially as I need two pairs (one red to go with my Chinese dress and another for the white dress).

I was was really lucky and got these brand new shoes for £6.60 inc. p&p from eBay

Also love my louboutins so considered a pair but saw these in Kurt Geiger and loved them. They were a bargain £120 well a bargain compared to louboutins anyway! I love my heels and will wear them again and again. Already tried them on with dresses and jeans and they go great with everything.
