Wedding shoes

Hi everyone!

I LOVE shoes, but don't really know much about wedding shoe designers! Who are the big names in wedding shoe designers? I'd love a really special pair of shoes but don't know where to look. Christian Loubiton has some amazing ones, but unless we have an influx of cash they may be out of my budget!

Pics would be very appreciated too Smiley smile

My shoes aren't designer but I think they're pretty special:-

The shoes were £20 on eBay - I struggled to find a Mary-Jane style in Ivory with a low heel anywhere else - and then I paid for them to be pearl encrusted. I've also got a pair of Rainbow Club shoes which have been encrusted with purple, lilac, pink and clear crystals for the evening reception, seeing as our wedding is on New Years Eve.

If you want to buy 'off the shelf' as it were, then Charlotte Mills and Kate Spade do beautiful shoes.

Harriet Wilde have some gorgeous shoes but they're only stocked in a couple of places. Then there's also Kurt Geiger, Jimmy Choo or high street shops like Dune who have really cute shoes at a more reasonable price.

I fell in love with some Charlotte Mills shoes but my budget couldn't stretch that far- amazing as they were I'd never be able to wear them again! I found it really hard to find some traditional wedding shoes that I liked but ended up buying some Pink by Paradox ones from Debenhams - ivory satin peep toes, slight platform with a little glitz on the front.

"Rainbow" seem to be a popular brand of bridal shoe. I've tried some on whilst trying on dresses and they seem really comfortable, whilst still being pretty.

I've gone for non traditional and bought teal shoes from hotter... I've got big feet so really struggled with the shoe hunt.

I also love my shoes, heels all the way ? I have louboutons but will say they are not not most comfortable. I have lots of Kurt Geiger shoes and that's what I've bought. Love them and will war them for ever. Not just for one day

Jimmy Choo are also a good one to have.

Otherwise, depending on budget... you could get some made from Upper Street designers. If you sign up to their mailing list, they usually send a £50 off voucher. I got mine from there and they are amazing, well worth the money - they will readjust and readjust until they are a perfect fit.
