Wedding taster menu

ExpensiveOrangeCakes470, 13 of January of 2016 at 23:01 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi, we have been invited to a taster evening at our venue. Details have been sent through of the menu, but the menu isn't what we have been given for our wedding day.

Would you say that this is except able or not?

Our taster wasn’t free and we still didn’t get to taste our actual menu choices. At the time I was a bit miffed but I think it’s just to build confidence in your caterer and see that they provide good food.

Good point. If they cook some dishes well its unlikely others will be awful. Same with presentation.

As part of our wedding package we get a menu tasting and we have been asked what dshes from the wedding menu options we want to try. So i know we will be trying food from the wedding menu but i guess everywhere different. Do you have to narrow down your menu selction from this tasting? If so that will be hard if yor not trying the actual food. We have to select one or two options from the menu to give guests which is why we are trying the actual menu.
