Wedding Tissue Packets

Sloth, 13 June, 2012 at 09:30 Posted on Planning 0 4

I am going to make personalised tissue packets to put on every other chair or so in the ceremony room - along the 'for your happy tears line'. Though I don't want to put that exact thing as I don't think its quiet right.

Has anyone got any other ideas of things we could write, other than our names and date. I have a bit of a quote/sayings thing going on - so if anyone knows any good quotes about happy tears/comfort/friends and tears?

I'm not trying to put you off but there was a thread on this not so long ago:

Only you know your guests though so do what you think it best. Smiley smile

Just thought the same thing Kharv! We are on a roll this morning!

I can't think of any quotes/phrases/lyrics that would fit I'm afraid.

I'm not keen on the idea myself as not everyone gets emotional at weddings.

But maybe it would be nice to have them in a basket to offer guests (if they would like/use them) on their arrival. Even if the guest isn't the emotional type they might take a packet as a keepsake of your day.

    Just a thought ! ?

Thanks girls - see the point maybe Ill reconsider where I put them. Wanted them more as a nice momentum thing for the day, rather than assuming people will cry - maybe Ill move away from a tears quote completely so they are just more general
