We got engaged in 2022, and would love a relaxed rustic wedding for approx 90 guests.
I’m from South Wales and my other half is from Manchester so we have been looking anywhere and everywhere from Manchester to Cardiff and in-between (Cheshire/Shropshire/Herefordshire/Gloucestershire/Monmouthshire etc!)We’re after a venue (preferably barn/farm) with beautiful surroundings where we can stay overnight with immediate family. We visited a few venues around Hereford/Powys and finally settled on Wilde Lodge, as ticked all the boxes (sharing food/onsite accommodation/private use/outdoor ceremony option/stunning surroundings and option for other guests to glamp/camp), unfortunately my dad was diagnosed with cancer the same day we saw the venue and in the few weeks deciding whether to go ahead with the 2025 wedding, the venue gave away our date to another couple despite explaining our situation.As my Dad is doing well, we’re now back to square one with finding a venue and is all time consuming with 2 young children. If anyone has any ideas on venues which would be suitable for what we’re looking for, your ideas would be very much appreciated
