Wedding venue help - Manchester

Hi everyone,

This is my first post, so hope I am doing it correctly! I am recently engaged and am starting to look for the perfect venue but I am struggling!

I am looking for something a bit castley / stately home like preferably with accomodation or accomodation nearby which won't break the bank.

I haven't visited anything in person yet, but my favourites at the moment are:

Oddfellows - Chedle

Crawball Manor - Chester

Hoghton Tower - Preston

Browsholme - Clitheroe

Mitton Hall - Clitheroe

I'm worried the above venues may all come in above budget, but are there any others which you would recommend adding to the list to have a look at?

Farrington Lodge has some great packages.

Stanley house is nice but a little more pricey.

Ferraris country house is nice

Salmesbury Hall if you want something older.

We got married at Beeston manor but it's more rustic country house than stately home but is amazing (I'm biased but it is!) they are having a wedding fair on Sept 3rd if you wanted a look around and it's near the others I suggested if you wanted a drive up and look around that area. Near Hoghton tower too

Hi, I'm newish here too.

I've just booked Oddfellows for my wedding next year - it's a fantastic venue!

I was going to suggest a few that the previous poster has mentioned.

Have you considered The Dunkenhalgh or Sparth House?

Thank you so much. We went to view a few and ended up falling in love with Hoghton Tower and have now booked our date in with them. Let the planning commence!
