Wedding Venues

Package price - Ask for pricing of all in packages but also if they do build your own, as it can be cheaper, we had lots of non drinkers and kids so was actually cheaper to pay individual price per element. Also ask about menus do you get more than one option as they often charge extra to have more than one choice per course.


Room rates - We also had a special rate for our guests to stay at the venue so if it is a hotel will you get an allocation of rooms?
Preferred supplier list - often you have to use their caterers, djs etc so check if that is the case, especially if they don't have on site catering, ask for details so you can contact them for pricing and menus before to make sure you ar comfortable
Extras - is cutlery, tableware, chairs, cake stand etc included, these can add up if you have to hire separately
Lastly, when you are ready to book your venue ask them to hold the date for 10 days so you can book registrar l, you need to get that booked before venue as if they are not available you can't get married but you have a great venue!

Based on posts I've seen on here I would also add to check if there are any noise limitations and the close time for the bar & venue.
