Wedding webcams - UDATED Live wedding on now!

That got me thinking so i googled our local registry office and it does do webcam for your ceremony this is what the website says.

Absent friends and family can watch your ceremony online. The Register Office can set up a live stream for your wedding, giving constant sound and vision as opposed to a web cam which refreshes every few seconds.

The ceremony is accessible by password only and is then archived for two months, during which time you can view your ceremony as often as you like.

So it seems its private viewing only and you have to give the password out.I wonder why?

Lol But surely if this a free service they offer and i couldnt find a price for it What would it matter.

I wouldnt care less if someone wanted to watch me get married at home Ah i correct myself i have found a price no wonder its password protected

The price of having your ceremony broadcast over the internet is £55.

Thats a lot of money id rather take a camcorder and put it utube lol

Is it not password protected to stop nosy bints like us stalkerish behaviour?

I think its coz its not a free service they charge for it and some people might be a bit miffed that they paying for anyone to look

Im gobsmacked they charge but then again the price of getting married now has shot up.£355 after oct 1st this year was previously £82 talk about inflation lol

Id love to watch a wedding as its been years since i went to a regisrty office wedding and cant remeber what happens lol
