Wedding website limitations

I've been setting up our wedding website these last few days and have a bit of feedback for consideration:

* I'd like to be able to ask guests about food allergies/dietary restrictions in their RSVP. As a minimum, if it was possible to change wording in events from 'I accept'/'I do not accept' to 'yes'/'no', that would help. Guests could then enter details in the text box. I'm surprised a specific food allergy sections doesn't exist, though, as it can be so serious.

* I hate that our names are in capital letters on the website homepage and I don't seem able to change it. Most of the font options provided look terrible in block capitals.

* I'd appreciate a very plain layout option so that I could upload the artwork from our wedding stationery, even if in place of photos, for more of a cohesive look.

* I'd like to be able to left-align text on the website instead of everything being centre-aligned. It would also be helpful to have additional formatting tools such as bullet points.

The website builder and guest list manager thing are both a bit tricky to find your way around IMO but I do appreciate the tools.

One more thing - some of our supplies aren't listed on Hitched, so a free-text option to add your own supplier in the 'My Suppliers' section of the site would be useful.

Website limitations may create challenges for user experience, search visibility, and overall online growth, especially if a site has slow loading speeds, outdated design elements, limited mobile responsiveness, or restricted functionality. These issues could reduce engagement and may affect how potential customers interact with the content. A dental SEO expert might identify opportunities to improve technical performance and enhance search presence through strategic updates. With the right adjustments, a website could achieve better accessibility, stronger credibility, and a greater chance of attracting relevant traffic. Small improvements in structure and optimization may contribute to more effective results over time, while ongoing evaluation could reveal additional areas for growth and development.

Completely relate to this — we've been struggling with the RSVP customisation too. Not being able to add dietary requirement fields without a workaround feels like such a basic oversight for a wedding platform. The inability to adjust text formatting on certain sections is frustrating as well, especially when you're trying to match the tone of your invitations.

It's a bit ironic really — we spent one evening venting about it and ended up unwinding by browsing movieboxforu.com for something to watch, and even that felt more customisable than our wedding site builder. Would love to see these platforms catch up with basic user control features.
