Just to let you know that a friend of mine told me about a mobile phone app called WedPics!

I had a wee look and it's a free app for uploading photographs onto. I set up my account earlier...it lets you put in your names, wedding date and invite friends and family to join too. It means if anyone at your wedding takes photos using their phone they can then upload them onto the site, which is password protected.

I thought it was a great idea for viewing photos of you and all the fun of the day you may miss out on as it'll be a busy day!

I'm sure there's loads of very similar apps but thought I'd share xx

I'm going to invite friends and family through the app, and then also give details on the invitations in case anyone has forgotten lol! xx

We used wedpics and it worked really well - I'd definitely recommend! You can pay to have little cards made but we ordered some business cards free on vistaprint, put the details on them and then popped them in with the invites.

We have downloaded this and have sent to a select few, it's not been as big as a hit as I would if hoped.

Im going to mention it to a few people and see if I can get a few more to join in.

thinking I will aim for the ones who are endlessly posting pictures online

i loved how easy this ap is to use.

Downloaded this a few months ago. The email invite thing didn't work as well so we text people the wedding ID instead. My high tec grandad has uploaded at least 20 photo's of me from the day of my birth until I was about 5 in the memory lane album though! Shameful!

We used it as I requested not to use facebook so people uploaded during the day. I'd say half our guests signed up.
