Westmill Farm / Three Lakes Ware

Hi all, new to the forums so will be hopefully getting lots of ideas and advice!

After being engaged for nearly 2 years thought it was about time to set a date! Looking at the Westmill Farm venue near Ware for February 2015, went to view today and loved it but just wondered if anyone had any experience or reviews they could share??

    It's a beautiful venue & the restaurant does lovely food. We had to disregard it because it's so isolated. X

    Hi, that's where we've booked our reception for 2016! I work locally and know colleagues who have attended weddings there and I've only ever heard positive reviews about it and the food in the restaurant is very good :-)

    You can go with their DJ too. Does anyone know what the DJ was like there please?

    That wasn't very clear sorry. What I meant was that the venue can supply their own DJ too and does anyone happen to know what he was like please? :-)

    Joeyno1, they have a wedding fayre at three lakes this Sunday from 11am too in case your interested.

    I have photographed this venue several times and Maxine looks after the arrangements exceptionally well. BBQ food is an option too. Great views over the valley which has some great sunsets at times......

    Highly recommended...

    Hi, I received an e-mail from them as we've booked our reception there otherwise I'd not have known either as I've not seen it advertised anywhere either. It's on from 11-3pm :-)

    In the grounds, there is a remote model car racing track.....this makes a hell of a row, although on wedding days, this doesn't happen....so don't be put off IF on the day you visit, this appears to be a concern.....

    Have got the details of the wedding fair now so will be going on Sunday!

    Thanks Peter for the heads up about the model car racing, I did see the sign for it but hadn't occurred to me whether they would or wouldn't be racing on a wedding day!
