We are kind of leaning towards 'At Last' at the moment, The Beyonce version as opposed to the orginal Etta James one. It gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.

It sums up our relationship nicely, having both had a serious of nightmare relationships and getting married in our late 30's /early 40's sums things up really well!

We're having The Calling, 'Wherever you Will go', which starts with 'so lately, been wondering, who will be there to take my place, when i'm gone, you'll need love to light the shadows on your face'. Not the cheeriest of starts but it's always been our song (even before we actually got together) so i wouldnt choose anything else. On the plus side the chorus is a bit better but im not sure how il be ablle to stop myself crying when it starts, the guitar bit at the beginning always sets me off. I think as long as it means something to the both of you it doesn't really make a difference what the words are (unless its something totally inappropriate like ' a quick one when he's away' or something ?

Ours is going to be 'Come What May' Ewan McGregor & Nicole Kidman from Moulin Rouge its a lovely song and it sums up us and our wedding has got a movies theme so that ties in too!

We're having Chasing Cars too- I think. It's taken us ages to decide as we don't really have "a song" (nothing appropriate for a first dance anyway!) but this song reminds us of when we were travelling around the world together (it was played at least 6 times a day, everywhere!) so it's the only one we could come up with that had both lovely words and some meaning to us.

We think were having florence and the machine, youve got the love............other half loves it and i think its nice that he's picked a song for our first dance, its starting to have alot of meaning for us too the more we listen to it, we put it on in the car all the time lol

Ptoldriver, I think you're absolutely right - one of the lines in our song is 'I had no idea that we would die today' - bit odd, but the rest of the words are just beautiful.

We're struggling to choose our first dance, our choices are Michael Buble - Everything (we said this woudl be our first dance when we got engaged), The Style Council - You're The Best Thing (both me and OH have had bad relationships in the past and are big Paul Weller fans) or Hoobastank - The Reason (it's our song and we always fo it on Singstar)
