What are everyone's first dance songs?

We're having "Secret Smile" by Semisonic, it's "our song" as we say, in our first few months together (over 9 years ago) we saw them live at our uni summer ball!

Some good choices here girls! I love the Take That songs too so I'm trying to fit them in somewhere during the day.

Oh my god i've just listened to flight of the conchords and its brilliant. I wonder if a can swist the OH arm and have it as our first song!!

If not then we are thinking Sweetest feeling by Jackie Wilson. We dont really want a slushy song!!

Think we're going to have Kissing You (Instrumental version) from Romeo and Juliet, it's always kinda been our song. I do love 'Feels like home' though so might have to get that in somewhere too. First remembering hearing it when i watched The Notebook.

Our song is Mel C - Never be the same again. But i can't find a version i like without lefteye doing her rap bit in the middle.

If not we like Westlife - flying without wings and Faith Hill there you'll be, but we can't decide if it's more of a funeral song. Any thoughts?

I like 'there you'll be' too, i suppose you can think of it as a song about having grown old together and looking back on memories, rather than its link to the Pearl Habour film.

Well i guess that's quite suitable, although we aren't that old yet ha ha, but we will have been together nearly 11 and a half years by the time we tie the knot

I LOVE the dawsons creek soundtrack so most defo having Feels Like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk

I am also thinking of doing something really cheesy like doing the thriller dance chreographed as a surprise to everyone lol

having dance with my father again as the first song played in memory of my dad who passed away 4 months ago then to pick the mood up, our official first dance will be "grow old with you" it's the one from the wedding singer - really funny one and sums us up to a t!

We're having incubus 'echo'.... we were both listening to this album on the bus/ train home from our first date and this song is beautiful and i love the lyrics... youtube it if you dont know it!

I would love take that greatest day somewhere in our day as i love it, although OH is not a fan (may walk down the isle together to this one). We will probably end the night with somthing heavy (more than likely Linkin park as we were at a gig when he proposed).
