What is your biggest wedding worry?

Mines more of an after thing really but I dont think im photogenic, i dont mind having my photo taken but I never think I look good in photos so im worried I wont like any of my wedding pictures [:'(]

We had some professional ones done last year and I refused to buy any of them as I thought I looked sh!te in them all, lets just hope it was a bad tog who didnt know how to photograph ladies from a flattering angle ?

I dont think i look good in photo's, don't think my hair will sit the way i want it, and quite possibly my makeup will be a mess. lol

My other worry is that my oh is a bit of a joker and may pretend "he's not coming!" lol in which case i will kill him.

Oh Moya, I am sure you are going to look fab in your pics, your smile will light up your photos ?

I must confess that that is also a big fear of mine, I hate my nose and I always try to avoid profile shots as I look ridiculous in them. When we had our engagement shoot (2008) I thought I looked really fat in the images, now when I look back I realise I was being silly and I look fine.

My biggest worry is that people wont feel comfortable/wont enjoy themselves because they dont know anyone/dont get on, and I in turn wont enjoy my day cos I'll be stressing about looking after everyone - thats a big worry.

I am also quite petrified at the thought that everyone is going to be looking at me and I'll be centre of attention - SCARY!

I have to agree with Novice, mine is definately crying too much.

My best friend got married in July and all of us girls we're blubbing messes but she was fine so i'm hoping i'm going to be so overly happy and excited that i don't cry!

If H2B wells up then i've got no chance, i'm a sucker for a man that cries, lol!!

And i suppose that my only other main worry is people not enjoying themselves!

My biggest one is my photographer not turning up. And this is quite a real fear.

Same goes for the DJ!

I have actual dreams / nightmares about the wedding with last night being an example! With half hour to go, I wasn't ready, I had done my own hair and make up (not a god thing!), and I still had to get to the venue!

I worry about no one turning up/ everyone leaving early

that's it we are so disorganized that nothing is organized to worry about

oh and I officaly look awful in all photos of me so not looking forward to those to much.

(to convey just how good i am at looking bad an ex of mine once said "your really pretty but it all goes wrong in photos"

I'm terrified that people won't have a good time. Too many of my friends have got far too high expectations ('ooh JG it's going to be sooo good'). What if it's not? What's if it's rubbish and they get bored? What if me and Jumbly Boy are the only ones left at 9pm dancing on our own to our super-expensive band, eating our super-expensive cake and buffet? Oh no. It's going to be a disaster.

Jumbly Girl - I know what you mean! All our mates seem to think we are having the wedding of the decade, and are looking forward to it more than we are!!!

Right now Im not worried about the day itself - Im too busy stressing over the stag do ☹️ Once thats done I'll probably start stressing about every but of the day ! lol

Same here. I look awful in photos.

I also worry that future stepdaughter is going to be sitting with a face like a slapped backside for most of the day!

OMG I hadn't thought of this one. But I too look awful when crying!

H2B is also worried about this!

I worry about the dancing - particularly as h2b has demanded complete control on it and my friends might not like his stuff - and we've got several rooms so I'm worried people will disappear into that.

Worried about tog and vlog that I'll look fat and ugly

That I'll cry and look a complete mess

That everyone'll be disappointed as a couple of my mates have had really extravagant do's (and after all I've already had the WHAT NO FREE BAR comment)

tbh at the minute I'm not looking forward to the day at all. I can't wait to be his wife, and I'm really looking forward to the honeymoon...but

I have so many worried i don't know where to start!

First of all is the obvious rain one- but there's nothing i can do

Second is me looking like an idiot in my photos as i'm taller than OH

I'm worried my mum's side of the family won't turn up (My mum passed away and since then the family has refused to speak to us)

....now i know some of you are gonna laugh or be disgusted at my next one... sorry if TMI!
but when i get nervous i sometimes get an upset stomach quite quickly!
upset stomach + big white dress+ not knowing where the nearest loos are+ having to take your BMS to help you to the loo in you dress = MY WORST NIGHTMARE!

It's early days in planning for me but I already have worries about the day!

My OH keeps saying he is going to get me a 'wedding bib'. What an attractive concept that is.

I have a few worries, but I am a worrier:

• No one dancing- just an empty dancefloor..
• No getting any pictures outside. I am a January wedding and although I except I am going to freeze I would really like some pictures outside and have a limited sunlight period so hope it doesnt chuck down all the way through!
• Everything being set up the way I want it. I am a control freak and a bit of a party planner by nature and would ideally have done this myself! I also worry about it not looking as good all together as I imagine..
• Too much snow so people cant make the venue, but a little covering would be pretty
• People being overly cold

Actually, loads of things- I cant go on, I think i'll start calling it off!!

This thread is massively stressing me out! i've got many fears, most already mentioned

us both bursting into tears
nobody dancing
my makeup looking all cakey and overdone
my fat stupid double chin looking absolutely rubbish in the pictures
everything running really late and not sitting down to eat till like 9pm!
people not getting along - ie our extended families meeting for the first time, aaah.

ugh should have just gone down to the registry office!!!! xx

I haven't really got many worried TBH.

The one thing I do keep thinking about is when I see what the guests are wearing. There's always 1 or 2 at a wedding when I wonder what made them wear that particular outfit. I have visions of me walking down the aisle and clocking someone and thinking "you wore THAT to MY wedding????" ?

I'm the most organised person and like things to be done properly but TBH - i'm so laid back over the wedding it's untrue! And our wedding co-ordinator is just like me and so fab that I don't have any worries ?

Mine is definitely crying. i really do get overly emotional and i cry at anything so am sure i will make a complete spectacle of myself and cry all the way down the aisle (probably sniffling and shaking at the same time) tragic!!

and then i worry that i'll be in such a state that i wont get my "i do" words out and all anyone will remember of my wedding day is not all the lovely little touches i will spend countless hours planning but just

"oh yeah you cried all day"

I am going to be a complete blubbering mess! Then be all red and blotchy!

Missing dress

Ruined dress by some accident (I have back up plan with my bridesmaid who is flying out a few days after me so she'll bring a dress if need be!!)

Tropical storm! - I know there is no point worrying, but a beach wedding in the rain is plain silly!

Wedding party not bringing their clothes - I'm actually thinking of bringing them all myself

People wearing Hawaiian shirts

People wearing sandals and socks (esp black ones!)

Forgetting some important documents so when we have to get the legal stuff done before they say whoops sorry you, can't get married.

Getting heavily sun burnt

Getting ill

Getting my hair done and I hate it! - We have a back up plan that my BM will have a practice do ready before the wedding incase!

Getting pregnant! Me or bridesmaids!

Plane crash!

Sweaty face

Too hot that I pass out!

Forgetting rings!

Illegal wedding!

OH not turning up!

Broken bones!

Loss of little bridesmaid!

I have quite a few worries! I may need a glass of wine to calm me down now after writing this list!

The time has come for us all to STOP ? (especially YOU kinky miss spinky!) I fear I have turned you all into a bunch of quiverring loopers...!

We all need to do some deep yoga breathing, and remember that what really matters is that we end the day married as husband as wife, I mean who cares if my dress doesn't fit, or Miss Spinks flights get cancelled or Moya looks like shrek in her wedding pictures ? or all Zippys flowers die ? all that matters is that we get to marry our men.....right?

I think I have broken you all and made you all turn into wedding loopers like me!

This is one of my worries! That I won't be able to get married! And I don't believe it's only about the end result of marrying our men, otherwise we would have all nipped to the registry office in our lunch breaks at work years ago and not stress over this! It is the day (okay, the end result matters!)

Funny you say that as R & I had this chat a week or to ago and we both agreed that if we could go back in time we would probably have a much much smaller wedding at a registry office and spend no more than 3-4K on it and blow the other 12k on a deposiit for a house
