Which idiot wrote these templates in fecking Latin? What a plonker. Like who readily knows Latin these days?

    Twonk [V]?

I need to write an invite to an Afternoon Tea Party

Anyone care to do it for me? I need to send it this afternoon and I'm knackered ?

There are words that are Latin-like - but a fair few that aren't, and it reads like no Latin I ever studied!
Tbh, it looks like some jabberwocky type made up thing to me!

I'm not sure it is Latin.

I studied Latin A-level and although it looks like Latin, I don't think it is.

Looks latin ish but is nothing I learned in 3 years of high school latin! ?

Did you say these are templates? If so, it's very common to use Latin for templates. H always uses Latin on sample websites where they are awaiting copy, normally starting "Lorem Dipsum" , so I'd say it's just dummy text. There are websites where you can get dummy text and I think it's just auto generated so it may well just be a random mix of Latin words.

They are templates in my email programme and I'm trying to taylor one for this tea party

I have to send it today to all the ladies otherwise they won't have time to RSVP by Friday

    But I'm knackered.

And after the meeting with my 'helpers', I'm wondering if this isn't all going a bit OTT. They want fresh flowers and champagne and pretty napkins everyone to dress up in summery dresses and hats ?

Thing is, there won't be any Bobs! It's women only! And WE'RE making the sandwiches and cakes and pastries

(which reminds me I need to plant my cress seeds NOW or we won't be having egg and cress sandwiches!)

    Easy,

Peaches cordially requests the presence of {insert their name} at [time and date] for afternoon tea. (Alternatively you can say High tea)

If you wantto be mega english and old fashioned don't use your name and instead use "Mrs Joe Bloggs*"

    * Assuming that's Mr Peaches' name!
