Well, I don't think so and I suspect the designer agrees.

However, that doesn't stop legions of brides ordering cheap counterfeits of the designer dress they love.

I suggest you take the picture to a tailor/seamstress/dress boutique and see what they can do for you.

BTW I originally found this dress on tumblr.

I thought about contacting the designer but like you said she/he wouldn't be able to make me that exact same dress.

I've looked at Ian Stuart before and nothing stood out to me, not like this Melta Tan dress, just had another look (at Ian Stuart) and correct me if I'm wrong but none of them have the tulle skirt like this dress.

I'm definitely going to get this dress made for me by someone, I've found a place called the Wedding Dress Store I've sent them a photo, so hopefully they'll reply soon.

The designer WILL be able to make the exact same dress - they hold the copyright!

The designer won't have given away copyright to the bride. Otherwise, the bride can have a job lot made and sell them herself.

However, the bride may have negotiated exclusivity with the designer, to ensure they don't sell the same dress to someone else.

I'll contact the designer and see if she/he can make the same dress for me.
