Walking down the aisle to "This I Promise You" by Ronan Keating (but performed by a local singer - this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aE0nSQTw0k). Walking back up to Take That's "Rule the World."
I am walking down the aisle to 'Marry me' by Train and the recessional is 'Your Love Keeps Lifting me (Higher & Higher)' by Jackie Wilson.
If you're looking for something upbeat what about 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz? It's not too fast but has a nice wee beat to it. As mentioned above 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole also has a similar kind of vibe. A friend had 'Isn't She Lovely' by Stevie Wonder for walking down the aisle.
This is going to sound horribly cheesy but it's what I've always wanted and my WTB is indulging me with it, but I am walking down the aisle to our Piano man's version of Suddenly by Angry Anderson. What can I say? Child of the 80's who always wanted to be Charlene from Neighbours when she grew up!
Not sure what we're walking back up to yet - hadn't actually considered it until I saw people talking about it here!
Im going down to Pachabells Canon on the strings and dont know what we're coming back up to. I like 'You've got the love' by FATM but it would have to be edited
Wailking down to the fabulous violinist Simon Jordan playing Better Together by Jack Johnson, then Canon by Pachelbell. He's timing the music exactly to my every step down the aisle! He's then playing the piano for the champagne reception afterwards.
Takkaeli, I had this when I got married before and our aisle was quite short too. They let it play out for quite a while first amd then we walked down nearer the end and faded it when they needed to. Worked really well Love that piece x
I was joking with my dad that we should walk down to Fat Bottom Girls by Queen!
Haven't actually decided yet though. I like How Long Will I Love You but may go with that for the first dance. I'd really like to include Love is Easy by McFly at some point though. Too many choices!
I'm walking down the aisle to Ellie Goulding - how long with I love you, and walking back up the aisle with new hubby to Queen - You're my best friend (this was his choice). I'm still trying to convince him to have our first dance to Nat King Cole's L.O.V.E but so far he's vetoing it. I'm going to wait until he wants to input on something then come to a compromise!
