Well our neighbour used to hoover at 6am, till we commented on it, and now its from about 8am and she'll go through to about 8.30pm which I think is fine. I think she has OCD about hoovering - she does seem to do it more than any other person I know.

I'd say after 8am and before 9pm personally.

    Whats hoovering? ?

Seriously though I would say not before 9am and no later than 9pm. My old neighbours used to hoover at 12 midnight sometimes. Thats one of the reasons why we bought a detached house second time round.

Personally I make a point of not hoovering here until 9am. And I would probably only hoover at 7pm at the latest.

Think I'd say not before 8am and not after ~9.30pm.

Generally not before 9am and not after 8pm. Next door have children so I don't do it any later. The parents work shifts so I'll see what cars are outside - if his car is outside then I'd wait until about 10-11am before doing anything noisey (but start ealier if both cars have gone).

    ? for the replies.

    I don't normally hoover after 9pm (it's not a regular thing?)

I had an urge to hoover at 6am this morning (because I dropped talc powder everywhere whilst having a sudden tidying spurt). But I didn't. But then I heard my neighbours hoovering at 630am and wish I had hoovered 1st ?
