I am getting him some cufflinks to wear on the day. He works in IT and is a proper techy geek, so I will be getting him these:

My husband has an expensive watch, doesn't like jewelry, wouldn't appreciate quirky cufflinks....I settled for the one thing he can't do without.....ME!! Or at least boudoir pics of me anyway! He loves them! And it's something that won't break/date/wear out...he can keep them forever and we can both remember what I used to look like when we celebrate our golden wedding anniversary!!!

I prefer the second one, with the blue numbers and white face! But I can see why you're having difficulty, they're both really cool!!

I was petrified! Literally pooping myself - I had to take Immodium before I went and had to stop to buy some ciggies on the way there and I gave up smoking 10 years ago!!! I used our wedding togs (husband and wife) and already felt comfortable with them but getting your kit off for virtual strangers was a bit daunting. The package included hair and make up and I supped champagne while this was being done. Jules and Sue were amazing...Sue and I sat down and had a chat and she explained the process and that she'd verbally guide me into all the poses and I started to feel more relaxed then I went off and put on my first 'outfit'. I then sat on the bed, Sue verbally guided me into position and Jules took a few sample shots. After a few minutes I completely forgot I was only wearing undies and really enjoyed myself! When I went off to change again, Jules downloaded some of the pics to show me to give me more confidence and I was amazed it was me! It's amazing what a professional tog can do to catch your best side! The 3 hours flew by and I was really sorry when it was all over. I even did a 'how to look good' (naked) shot which I knew I'd regret not doing and I was so pleased I did. I was blown away when I saw all the pictures - I looked like a proper model (and I don't mean figure wise that's for sure!). I left on such a high and felt so much more confident.

I went to Julian Porter Photography in Southampton. I think the shoot and album were about £350 (but you don't have to have an album so it could be cheaper if you just wanted a couple of pic etc). I've since looked at FYEO and am not too keen on their style and glad I didn't go with them - their style is a bit more 'in your face' and...dare I say it....tacky (sorry, just my opinion).

Do look into doing it - it's a great, confidence boosting experience. Don't worry about what shape or size you are, they'll have seen it all before and if you choose a good tog, he or she will make you feel really special and beautiful. My tog's boudoir blog has some larger, older ladies on there and they look amazing!

I would highly recommend a Boudoir session... ? Yes, I am biased. But you cannot get a much more personal gift. As for your body, even if you are not confident, a good photographer will pose you and light you to show off your best assets! I have never had a client who felt bad about herself once she has seen her images. Much the opposite!

If you are anywhere near MK, I have a promo going until the end of February!

But if you are not, I am sure you can find a local photographer who can do a great job!

    Hi,

I have bought him some cufflinks - with personalised maps. 1 is our wedding venue and the other one is our honeymoon location..!!

he wears them all the time and I think its a great idea

I was toying with getting him ones that said "see you" and "at 3pm" thought they were nice too

I love the idea of doing the boudoir shoot - I think it's so personal. I would completely cack myself before too but I think it would be worth it. The only problem I have is the money. I just don't know if I can justify spending it?

I'm getting him his first electric guitar with an engraving on the back. He has a normal one but I may change my mind and get some nice pics done!

Someone mentioned to me the other day that you can get a voucher on lastminute.com for FYEO that entitles you to a one hour shoot with a print of your best shot for your groom. The price of the package on FYEO website is £99 and on lastminute.com it is half price! The only problem for me is that you get an online account for 2 weeks with your top 20 shots and if I looked at them I would probably want to buy them too and I think they charge around £400 for 10 prints!

They were from this seller on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TippyTumble#

There don't appear to be any others in their shop, but if you send them a message they'll probably be able o make them for you ?

OMG! At that price you may as well book the whole lot and be done with it!!

£99 sounds great, shame you only get the one pic though.
