What to wear for a christening?

A nice wrap dress with some tights. Or some nice wide legged trousers and a nice fitted top.

I've previously worn a nice Monsoon knee length skirt (that I sometimes wear to work) with knee high boots and a black top and cardi. Otherwise, smart trousers and a nice blouse?

I don't have many "in-between" smart outfits. Most of my things are either work, wedding smart or really casual.

I am too short for wide leg trousers, they make me look like a umpa lumpa :-( I love them too! Might have a look for a wrap dress thanks!
