What to wear to a hindu wedding?

Do you want to wear traditional Hindu dress? If you do, I might have the answer! My friend is currently setting up a hire company for indian clothes suitable for wedding guests etc. My sister, who isn't Indian, has worn a few and looked lovely (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.116524505036406.14287.109659329056257&type=3)

I think I should do a mix, some saree and normal dresses. Ive got 6 months but to afford buy that amount of clothes I need to start shopping now

I went to a wedding in India last year I wore some day dresses like I would to a wedding here and I also had an Indian suit (leggings with a long top thing) and a Lengha (sp sorry!) for some of the evening bits. I was happy to mix and match as I don't think I would wear the Indain clothes much again. I don't know where you are but we got ours from Southall in London. There were loads of shops to choose from. Also a friend got her Lengha from eBay.
