Have got a dress from Coast, unfortunately no link as it was i the sale and can't find it anywhere. It's light green with a pattern in duck egg blue and halter neck with a darker green satin waistband ribbon.
I have a very light beige pashmina/shawl/scarf (whatever it is!) that looks like it's matches well as seems to be a complimentary colour to the waistband. However, not feeling to confident re my shoulders in the dress so would prefer a shrug/bolero type thing that will be a permanent fixture. You may wonder why go for halter neck style if this is the case but the rest of the shape of the dress is flattering on my hips/thighs so it's like the lesser of the two evils.
Trying to look online for shrugs and seen quite a few cream coloured ones. Would these be okay? I've no idea really. And if so, I'd need cream shoes, right? Can you tell I never wear dresses? 😄
