What unusual traditions are you having at your wedding?

I know it’s such a strange time for the wedding industry at the moment and it can feel overwhelming, so wanted to hear some fun and unusual traditions you may be having at your wedding!

For me, I’m bridal party is a little different than usual. I have no MOH but my two best friends are equal bridesmaids. I then have two flower girls, my fiancé’s SIL and his niece.

Would love to hear what everyone else is doing!

We got married back in July, and we walked up the aisle together, which I guess is fairly unusual here, although I think more common on the continent. We had discussed doing that originally, but then gave way to the pressure to have the traditional 'bride processing up the aisle with family member' thing, only then Covid stepped in, meaning I'd have to be 6 feet away from my family, so we went back to our original idea and walked in together!

I had no bridal party, but one of my best friends acted as my witness and the other is a musician so she played us up and down the aisle.
