What's so great about Yankee Candles?

FutureMrsRon, 11 May, 2011 at 13:30 Posted on Planning 0 18

A lot of you ladies seem to be very keen on these - are they better/different from normal candles?

I think they burn for longer and the scent lasts longer

They smell divine. Quite strong but delicious. My friend once bought me a "sampler pack" which had about 24 different mini candles in it. mmmmm.

Haha yeah ok, cant claim to know what that one smells like as haven't burnt it or had my wedding day to know what a wedding day smells like hehe, but generally speaking they are the nicest scented candles in my opinion

I have often wondered this too, they are everywhere.

If they smell as good as everyone says I may try one now.

You can get the little sampler ones for a couple of quid, good way to try it.

The vanilla cupcake one is a top seller and the kiwi and lime I think it is

I love Yankee Candles, but unfortunately, Wedding Day is not one of my favourites. My sister says it smells like "Gran's House" - not a bad small, but a bit like old lady perfume.

Aww I like the Wedding Day one Smiley smile It's a hard smell to describe but it's floral in an 'old-fashioned' way.

I'm having the medium jars as part of my table centrepieces, either the Wedding Day one or the Beautiful Day one.

Like others have said, nothing beats Yankee Candles for being true to scent, and the scent lasts until the end. I must admit to having a bit of a YC habit going on!!

    ETA:

Oooh that's where I buy mine from too Smiley smile I haven't tried the coconut one though - another one for the list!!
