when someone choose the same venue

I don't know we're to start but some friends of ours have decided to get married this year after we told them we would be doing our in 2017 which felt like stealing our thunder but they have know started asking about our reception I'm hoping and praying that they don't go and book the same place as us.I don't want to turn into some crazy bride I just want my day as I've wated so long for this?

    Well I wouldn't give them much in the way of details as to where and what yu have chosen. If she doesn't know your venue and chooses the same on coincidentally I wouldn't worry about it too much. The details and colours you choose will make it different from wedding to wedding but I wouldn't give too many of your ideas away. Are you marrying at a similar time of year?

    I agree with Jayne, give them no details about the venue. Just say you haven't decided yet.

    But, it does sound a bit bridezilla to say that they're stealing your thunder because they're getting married ahead of you! Some people have different engagement lengths for a variety of reasons, or may just want a specific date.
