When to say yes to the dress

I'm getting married March 2022. When I contacted bridal shops I was told about a year in advance as dresses can take up to 9 months to arrive then time for fittings etc. Not helpful when you're in Scotland and shops don't open til today. Apparently I'm already more than a month behind ?

View quoted message Hopefully ? I've seen loads of bridal shops on Instagram say they can rush dresses or get dresses in far less time. I think a year is possibly just a comfortable time to let you have the opportunity to decide and shop around. So excited to go and try at last!
