Where to buy cheap white-iced sponge cakes (3 sizes?) except M&S?

I have seen the M&S ones which aren;t a bad price but keep reading about Asda ones and even Tesco ones but can;t seem to find the sponge cakes (iced in white icing), in diff sizes I have read so much about?

I have spoken to a local cake maker and am waiting for her to get back to me but wondered if I could save money as TBH all we want is a 3 tier round cake and I can buy ribbon/toppers myself.

Tesco have them. IIRC, they are in three sizes. In my Tesco, they are with all the party cakes and tray bakes etc. I think it was about £40 for the three.

TESCO does them in three sizes and I work there and they are really popular for weddings

The plain iced cakes i saw in Tesco were fruit not sponge, but maybe it was just my tesco? I fany one dose find out if they do sponge that would save me a fortune!

I'd say Tesco or Waitrose. You could try ordering them online if you can't find them in stock in the stores.

I just cant seem to find the plain sponge iced ones in either Tesco or Asda (in diff sizes) online though? Boooo xxx

Hmmm...had a look and I can't find them in sponge at Tesco or Asda online either, only fruit. Waitrose do a plain 3 tier sponge for £139.

I know they definitely definitely do them in M&S as I was going to get mine there but ended up finding a cake lady who would do it for only a little more than supermarket prices. Sorry can't be of more help.
