Where to get some nice packaging for homemade biscuits

Zo, 30 October, 2008 at 19:17 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 10

We are thinking of making some short bread for some pressies for christmas as H has discovered a nice receipe and they are very cheap to make. However I have no idea where to look for something to package them in, maybe a nice box thing or something like that. Any ideas please?

Hmm i was thinking more boxes than cellophane, but worth a look thanks

I'll ask him for the receipe (he was actually making jam tarts and mince pies but the pasty receipe he used came out like short bread its yummy)

I bet you'd be able to pick up some boxes in Poundland or similar if you can cope with the smell of cheap plastic and having to rummage through things made of nylon to get to them!

Im clearly blind I missed those on lakeland!

    Thanks all ?

    The receipe is:

    350g plain flour

    225g butter (room temp)

    100g caster sugar

rub ingredients together until they form a dough. Shape into buscuits (you can use a cutter or whatever)

Bake at 200 degrees C or equiv for 20 - 25 mins or until the edges start to become golden brown.
