Where to go on a hen weekend abroad? - Any suggestions

Madrid is fab.

Some girls at work have just come back from Lisbon on a hen weekend and have raved about it.

I went to Barcelona for a hen do in March and it was fantastic. We paid about £100 for flights and £80 each for an apartment just of Las Ramlas.

The hens organised a tourist bus tour with dares and challenges at each stop. The nightlife is great and the city itself is amazing. My only regret is that I didn't stay long enough to have time to go to the beach!

I went to Barcelona with 7 good friends and we had a fab time. I booked it all through lastminute.com, we went in August and I'm sure it came in at less than £300. We stayed at hotel Inglaterra which was very central and perfect for a weekend trip. We went to some great restaurants and bars, and the shopping was good too - I would love to do it again!

Went to the Algarve recently with my mum. £200 each for flights, transfers and accomodation from Teletext holidays. There were some really good bars and clubs around Praia Da Rocha and the beach was fabulous.

I went with 9 friends to Prague cant remember how much it cost but i'm sure it was less than £300! We had a fabulous time would definatly recomend it. Flew with easy jet and booked a hotel online.

I'm going to Ibiza in 10 days time for my hen weekend (eeeeep). For a 4* hotel and BA flights it came in at £330 per person which I thought was pretty reasonable.

I have done 2 trips abroad for hen parties and am going on another in middle of June, all of them have only cost about 120 quid for flights and accomation (only stayed for 2 nights though)

1) Benidorm....was very cheesy, but we had great fun and nice apartments with private pool etc

2) Barcelona.....more classier, best of both worlds, beach and city sights, full of muggers though , 2 of our gang had their bags stolen by street urchins

This year we are going to Palma Nova

If you are going May June next year, all the flight from the budget airlines go on sale in Oct time our flights includig tax only cost 56 quid return this year that's with jet2 from Leeds

I would get the bride to check how many people will really be up for going and then decide. Some locations are easier for larger groups to hang round, drink etc others are better for smaller groups

Barcelona / Madrid / Prague / Paris are all good for weekends away and can be done on all sorts of budgets

I think there is only going to be about 10 max of us on this trip as I know many cant afford it and she is having a big night out in town a couple of weeks before the wedding but will double check anyway.

For those who have been to Prague - can I ask? My husband went on his stag do and from the sounds of it thats all the visited was dodgy bars and stripper places. Is there a more decent nightlife than that?

We went as a couple to Prague and although I did go to a strip bar (long story cut short MrSC's brother was on a boys weekend there at the same time!) there was definitely more to it than dodgy bars and strip joints, we ate nice food, shopped and sight saw....it was ace

I went to Marbella for mine 2 years ago. We stayed at the PYR hotel which cost about £20pppn and flights were about £120ish. The PYR is a nice hotel as well. It was full of stag and han parties.
