Which accommodation for us when we'll have a 2 month old baby?

Hi all,

we're getting married at a golf club with no accommodation in April next year. Our baby is due in February (completely planned, longed and hoped for) so we'll have a 2 month old with us.

I'm really not sure what's best to do for accommodation on our wedding night.

We'll be half an hour away from home. Should we just go home or should we book a hotel in the area? Before baby, we'd been considering a B&B but think the hosts won't want a crying baby if there are other guests/themselves around.

I'm hoping to be breast feeding and not sure I could bear to be away from baby for a night when she/he'll be that young.

What would you do?

I think a B&B would be fine to have a baby, I wouldn't worry about that. However, as it's your wedding night, maybe you could arrange for your parents to stay in the same place with the baby, and express some milk in advance for night feeds.

That way you'll still get your downtime with your husband, but baby will only be in the next room, so you won't really be away from it?
