They're both beautiful songs, and I love the arrangements, but I'm not sure I'd want either lyrically. They're both about couples who have split up surely?

You only use a small part of the song when walking down the aisle. As soon as the song starts, you start walking, then it's faded off as soon as you get to the front. If you use the second song and start at the chorus (which is more appropriate than the beginning bit) it could work really well.

This. I wouldn't have either personally, they are both definitely break up songs rather than wedding songs. There are plenty of beautiful songs which aren't about breaking up ? At the end of the day it's up to you.

Have a listen to them in the church using the speaker system you will be using on the day - these tracks will require a good quality system to heard properly - a boom box at the back of the church will not do it!

On my wedding, we had a very different scene. I was a great fan of mac miller and we chose his good news song as a background song on our wedding. That was awesome. Do try something change. Smiley laugh

What a beautiful and tough choice! Both are gorgeous songs that would create a truly magical moment. To help you decide, think of it this way: "A Thousand Years" is a song about you walking towards your future, while "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" is a song for the sacredness of the moment itself.

Since you're in a church, "Jesu" fits the traditional sanctity perfectly. Making a final choice can feel like trying to perfectly map out a complex journey—sometimes you need a clear visual to see how all the pieces fit together, much like consulting a detailed Michigan County Map for guidance. You truly can't go wrong! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding

For anyone planning a long engagement or waiting on timing between events, having something reliable to keep your automatic watch running can be a subtle but handy help. A good watch winder ensures your timepiece stays accurate, even if it’s not being worn every day. It’s one of those small details that can make the day flow a little smoother.
