Who has a princess cut engagement ring?

I have a princess cut white gold diamond ring. I tried a plain gold band on with it when we bought it (planning ahead!) as my mum has one that doesnt sit too well.

The diamond is 4 square princess cut diamonds set in a square a little way off the ring band and a plain wedding band sits really well with it and complements it really well.

Have been trying to get a good piccy of it to send to family so will post one on flickr when i eventually get one.

On the subject of rings....

Mine was bought in Christchurch, NZ last week and we got a valuation in NZ dollars. Do I need it valued again for the home insurance or do i even need it valued?

I didn't get mine valued, i just increased my contents insurance appropriately.

I do but I just got a plain wedding band and it sits fairly well beneath the stone. There is a tiny gap but not enough to worry about.

I have a Emerald cut ring and i had my wedding ring cut out to fit it. Similar to a Princess cut.

If you find somewhere that perhaps makes them it's cheaper. I asked Ernest Jones how much they would charge to cut out one of their rings and it was an extra £75. I had mine made at the Jewellery quarter.
