Holey, 21 February, 2013 at 13:36 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 12

I remember one of you lovely ladies saying you'd bought one but I can't remember who!

Just wondering how you are finding it? I really like the look of them but don't know anyone thats got one to ask what they are like!

It was me ?There might be someone else, but I have one and I love it!

What did you want to know? I don't get to drive mine much because OH always steals it, but I will try and be helpful!

If you go onto autotrader and take a reg number from a model that you like, use the reg in an online insurance quote to get an idea of insurance costs.

Some adverts will also mention what tax bracket they are in.

Faebelle thanks for solving the mystery!

I questions I had would have related more to maintenance/upkeep which you can't really help me with! My only other questions would be:

How spacious are they? Could you fit three adults in the back for a long journey?

How comfortable are they? Honestly! The reason I ask is that I've had a car in the past (Astra) that used to make my back ache after an hour and half driving and strangely used to give me pins and needles in my hands

Ah sorry I cant really help with the upkeep questions, but re the other ones:

They are possibly not as spacious as they look, you could definitely fit three adults in the back comfortably, obviously depending on how big the people are (!) but OH drove four of his friends on a three hour round trip with no problems. But they aren't as big as four by fours or anything. The boot is actually really quite small though. I had a corsa previously and the boot is the same size, if not smaller than that.

I find it very comfortable and I always suffer with back pain. I haven't driven it on a really long journey though so not sure how it would be after a long time. But the seat is pretty supportive and you can adjust the height etc so you can sit comfortably. I've certainly never had pins and needles in my hands!

You should definitely take one for a test drive, they are lots of fun!

This has been really useful as I have been looking at a Juke.

37mpg isn't really that good though, I drive approx 60 miles a day for work so this is worse than my fiesta, which really isn't that good either.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.
