Who packs the bridesmaids dresses?

As soon as ours were purchased I gave them to my BMs and they bought them with them to the venue, which is pretty standard so as they have them already I am sure they will be expecting to bring with them.

I think I asked my Mum about 12 months before the wedding if I could make use of her boot if mine wouldn’t fit everything in, it was just a speculative comment one day, but now it’s planned into the day before plans, so no I don’t think you’re rude or over thinking it! 😂


Just ask who you’re comfortable asking, if they already have their dresses they probably just assume they’re responsible for bringing them themselves, but maybe just ask in a nice off-hand, “just checking” kind of way: are you happy taking your bridesmaids dress up, or do you need me to sort that?

One of my best mates got married and asked us all to take our own dresses (we were in different parts of the country). We were all okay with this - no problem. However! I stupidly forgot mine! On a Friday at rush hour, a crash on the road, a dog who hates travelling, and a limited electrical car.... Not smart! Luckily about an hour down the road I remembered it so we could turn around but it took several hours to turn round, grab it, re charge the car, sit in traffic and extra car charging. My dog absolutely hated us on this trip!
Basically what I'm saying is - if your BM are dependable and won't do the stupid thing like I did then ask them. But if your friends are a bit spacey like me then maybe take them yourself. Basically whatever gives you peace of mind 😂😅
