Your list is fine, tho I wouldnt be so generous. We are just getting the groom, BM, fathers and 3 ushers. Havent asked MIL if she wants a corsage and mum will prolly make something from her own garden....lol. At roughly a fiver a pop, dont go overboard IMO.

I think you have covered everyone...I'm just buying for the bridal party, if anyone else outside of that wants one, my experience is that they buy them.

    Dumb question alert!

Is the bridal party just the bride, groom, BMs, best man, ushers and FOB? or does it include all of B and G's parents?

Personal preference really, i have the parents as part of the ''bridal party'' but you also have step parents to consider too.. I am not providing for my fathers partner as shes not on top table or nuffin..

My bridal party will be Groom, Best Man, Grooms Man, FOTB, MOTB, MOTG, Ushers and Pageboy...neither of us have gandparents left and H2B's father passed away quite a few yrs ago.

How do I put this....MOTG and MOTB aren't "officially" part of the bridal party but it's a special day for them as well...I'm just doing corsages for them or something to pin on their handbags, I'm gonna let them decide.

I'm basically only forking out for whoever will be sitting at the top table and Ushers, we don;t have any step parents or new partners to "worry" about, at the end of the day you need to look at cost and whether or not you can afford it ?

We're not having a top table. Instead we are moving do a different table for each course, so can't really narrow it down that way!

That's a great idea!....definately wouldn't be buying for your table then, you would be out a fortune! ?

    We're just buying:

Groom, 2x Best Man, 2x Ushers, 2x Mums, 2x Dads, 1 Auntie (doing the FOB speech)

Would love to get grandparents, my brothers etc but it's just too expensive.

We got them for: groom, best men (we had 2), our fathers, our brothers (who were also the ushers) and our grandparents. We also got corsages for our mothers. We weren't sure about getting them for our grandparents but were glad we did as they really appreciated them. At the end of the day they were only £2.50 each, not much in the grand scheme of things!

Hi,Traditionally the groom wears two flowers in his left buttonhole and the broom tends to match one that features in the bride's wedding bouquet. The best man and the fathers of the bride and groom also wear a double bloom in their left buttonhole, but this can be any flower of your choice. But yet its Personal preference really,

    Key People for Buttonholes:

    • Groom
    • Best Man/Woman
    • Fathers of the Bride & Groom
    • Ushers
