    Do it!

Shop around and make sure you get the right level of cover, but make sure you get wedding insurance. While an annoying sunken cost if you don’t need to claim, you regret not having it if you venue, caterer, dress shop or any other supplier is unable to fulfil the booking (where that be business closure, dropping the cake or anything else which might not quite go to plan).

Definitely worth getting - I know you don't want to think about it going wrong but imagine if your venue burns down the week before or something like that you don't want to be out the money and unable have a wedding.

Very true! It's more if any extra damage is caused to the venue or others I want the extra liability insurance, as the venue holds a £1000 Refundable damage fee so if i pay £200 for wedding insurance I will be covered and get my 1000 back.
Does that make sense or is my logic floored??

Nope that's good logic! Check the insurance policy as you may have to pay an excess but most cover liability up to a certain amount (usually quite high) so you wouldn't have to pay the full amount if anything like that happened.

Who are you going with? They all seem to have terrible reviews.
