Will you be my bridesmaid- Quirky Ideas

I just asked mine over a nice lunch. But I saw this the other day, which I thought would have been a fun way to do it:

I ordered some cards and which had fridge magnets attached to the front from notonthehighstreet.com and then wrote a poem inside. Each poem was different and relevant to the relationships I have with each (i.e. sister, sister in law to be and best friend).

There are lots of lovely things out there but as SIL2B is travelling at the moment it had to be something easy to post to Australia and I wanted them all to have the same!

I made some little felt fotune cookies and wrote individual 'fortunes' asking 4 of them to be bridesmaid, i think they liked them, or at least they said they did I put them in a little box and then the box in a little paper bag.

Lovely ideas!.. Two of them are 15 and 16 so i had thought about getting one of those Thorntons chocolate plaques and getting them to ice the question on?

I wrote "Will you be my bridesmaid?" on a Starbucks cup - we used to go to Starbucks nearly every day, it's where our friendship really blossomed. I put a letter inside the cup with a picture of a bride and bridesmaid from Big Fat Gypsy Wedding ?

I have been debating it. I know my bridesmaids will find it really funny but I also like the sweet and thoughtful messages you can get.

I bought heart shaped bridesmaid keyrings and pretty boxes, and then did it like a proper proposal! It was fun for me, and meant a lot to them :-)
