Winter wedding cake ideas.. flash me!

Hi all, not really been on here since our wedding in October but im in need of some inspiration. my lovely friend is getting married in feb 2013, and i have been trusted with the job of making her cake. i am over the moon that she wants me to do it so im pulling out all the stops, i wanna make it fabulous! she has just told me theyve decided on a blue & silver theme (as yet im unsure of what colour blue exactly but im going with all options to start with) i have googled and found some lovely styles & ideas but wondering if anything different might pop up here. if you have or are having a wintery blue/ silver wedding id love for you to share your cake pics or ideas. so far im loving frosty pinecones and possibly snowflakes. shes open to any cake ideas so cupcake ideas are also welcomed! thanks lovelies xxx
