Witnesses

We haven’t booked anything yet but me and my fiancé are ideally looking to get married at a registry office in secret this year. The one thing that I worry about is being able to find two witnesses off the street incase nobody is around or willing!


Has anybody been in the same situation before who can reassure me that it won’t be as hard to find witnesses as I’m imagining?
I really don’t want to go down the road of inviting anybody we know because we don’t want anybody to feel left out, and honestly I don’t know how I would pick between our family and friends
