World war 2 gothic theme wedding

That certainly is a unique combination and sounds fantastic. I shot a 1940s style wedding 16 years ago now so forgive the small images as they are from my archive. Cant help with the gothic side of your plans but some ideas from this wedding. Everyone wore some sort of 1940s dress, many were in military uniform, lots of trilby's. There were a couple of "spivs" selling cheap black market nylons and an armful of watches which was good fun. The kids were also in 1940s dress and they loved it.

They had a 1940's vintage car for them and a vintage bus for the guests as they had the meal on the great central way steam train in Leicester, who had the union jack bunting out for them.

The reception after the train meal was at Beaumanor Hall in Leicester that was used as a secret listening station during WW2 . Sherry was used for the drinks reception and every one who wanted to had lessons from a lindy bop dance teacher, I think on hand on the day.

I even had a trilby with a "press" card slipped into its band and I also grew and shaved myself a spiv pencil moustache.

I think a birdcage veil would fit in well with both themes, but a black one - not white like this.
