Worried about dress fitting!!

Fortemregina, 4 August, 2021 at 22:16 Posted on Wedding Attire 0 1
Hello everyone!

I am completely panicking. So I started my weight loss journey in Jan 2019 and bought my dress after losing 2.5 stone in September 2019.
Due to the pandemic, my 2020 wedding was postponed to 2021 however I’ve since lost another 2.5 stone in this time and I completely freaking that my dress is going to be too big to even alter.
I’ve messaged the tailor who said to bring it into my fitting and they will see what they can do but my anxiety is through the roof with it.After all the stress with covid and rearrangement, the last thing I need is my dress to be completely unable to be altered!
Just looking for some reassurance to help me destress!
Xx

A good seamstress/tailor can alter a dress easily. My mum brought a dress 3 sizes too big and has taken it in to fit lovely. Don’t panic.
Take it to the tailor and I reckon they will calm you down and ease your fears. Also it’s always better to have a bit of room just incase of bloating etc and your need the room to throw some Beyoncé moves on the dance floor

Massive congratulations on the weight loss. Xx
