Worst spelling of a name EVER

Ok, just watching Four Weddings and one of the brides spells her name Chivonne. I ask you. Ridiculous. It really riles me when parents try to be edgy and spell their kids' names bizarrely - what's the weirdest spelling you've ever seen? (there are usually loads in Chat magazine LOL)

I have seen Sharday instead of Sade and Derrwayne instead of Dwayne. Hmmm definitely some weird spellings, more like people spell them like they pronounce them.

Haha some of these are great!

Not really a spelling mistake...or if it is, then it's particularly strange...we have a guy at work called Hitler, I joke not ? He's from India, but still...why on earth would anyone call their child that!?

We also have an indian Merlin, which in my opinion is just plan cool!

My parents didn't have an english name picked out for me when I was born, so my dad chose a name off a list a nurse gave him. It's Hanna (like the film that's out, so hopefully that'll help!), but I guess people assume that I must not know how to spell my own name or something, as constantly at work, quotes via mail/online, people insist upon spelling my name with a h at the end... The thing that makes it worse at work is that my e-mail address is visible, with the correct spelling, my contact name in the e-mail is also visible and correct, my signature is correct and actually has my name in it twice!!

    Oops...slight rant over!

My old boss' name is Shara, turns out her dad had meant to call her Sarah but messed up the spelling there!

This has been a very funny read! Great way to waste a boring Monday afternoon! I don't know anyone that spells their name in a strange way BUT a few years ago, the office I worked in employed 2 workers to join the catering team who were cousins- they were called Champagne and Chardonnay... It was very hard to keep a straight face when they introduced themselves to me!
